Getting set up

How do I connect my parent's phone?

Set the household up on your phone first: add their medicines, meals, and quiet time. At the end you'll get an invite code. Install Pillar on their phone, choose "I have an invite code", and enter it. From then on both phones show the same schedule.

Can more than one family member be on the household?

Yes. One person is the primary contact and receives escalation alerts when a dose is missed. Everyone else you add receives the evening summary only.

Can I add a medicine with more than three doses a day?

Yes. Nothing is capped. A medicine with four doses gets four reminder times, and you can change any of them later from the caregiver's phone.

Reminders and alerts

What happens when a reminder is missed?

If a medicine reminder goes unanswered, the primary contact gets an alert with a one-tap Call button. Tapping Not now on the parent's phone pushes the reminder back ten minutes and does not count as missed.

When does the evening summary arrive?

At 21:30 in the household's time zone: what was taken, and anything that wasn't.

How do I stop reminders during a hospital stay or holiday?

Pause the household from the caregiver's profile screen. While paused there are no reminders and no escalation. Unpause when you're back.

Reminders aren't showing up on the parent's phone

What does the help button do?

It calls the primary contact's phone number. Nothing else on the parent's screen places a call. If the button says there's no number yet, add one in the household settings.

Your account and data

I forgot my password

Use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link.

How do I delete my account?

From inside the app: open the ••• tab, choose Delete my account, and type DELETE to confirm. It happens straight away — there is no waiting period, and we don't need to be involved.

What goes: your account, your sign-in, and your membership of the household. If you are the last member left, the household goes too, along with its whole medication history. If someone else is still in the household, their copy of the shared schedule and day history stays with them.

If you can't sign in to reach that screen, email us from the address you signed up with and we'll do it for you. See our Privacy Policy for what is stored, and how to delete your account for the same steps on one page.

Who can see the household's data?

Only the members of your household. We do not sell your information and we do not use health data for advertising.
